Keane Care

An all-time high number of LTC professionals, 146 from across the country, attended the 2007 Keane Client Conference this past August in Las Vegas.

Attendees chose from 34 educational sessions divided into four categories: General Financials, RAM/Billing, Clinical, and Technical. Some presenters were clients, sharing their best practices and real-world experience with their colleagues. Staff also presented sessions ranging from introductions to Keane NetSolutions and eCharting to detailed down-to-earth sessions, and open Q&A periods.

Keane Care and Resource Systems are now Platinum Partners, working together at the highest level to provide our mutual clients with maximum benefits. Resource Systems initiated this partnership program to increase its commitment to LTC software vendors.

The companies entered an agreement in 2003 that allows Keane Care to market Resource Systems' CareTracker system to its clients.

CareTracker offers wall-mounted touchscreen devices that direct caregivers use to chart the care they provide. The CareTracker system uses that data to generate reports and calculate scores for the MDS. It exports totals to Keane Care's MDS software for MDS Sections G, E, and, in early 2008, H1-3, N1, and P3.

Founded in 1980, Resource Systems of New Concord, Ohio, specializes in data collection and reporting solutions for long-term care organizations. Resource Systems develops software that harnesses the newest reliable hardware technology available.

Keane Care and eHealth Data Solutions have entered an agreement to provide an interface between Keane Care's MDS software, Resident Assessment, and eHDS' CareWatch product. CareWatch analyses MDS assessments completed with Keane Care software for errors of omission and logic and provides reports with in-depth explanations.

CareWatch also offers tools and reports to measure LTC facilities' performance based on Quality Indicators/Quality Measures. For more information on eHDS, visit their Website at www.eHDS.biz.

Keane Care clients have another way to learn the latest on software and regulatory developments with blogs added to the clients-only section of the Keane Care Website. The Web Logs, known as blogs, give Keane Care staff a quick way to post messages that are available to clients almost immediately.
