Therapute collects treatment minutes from therapists and puts that data to work for billing and real-time reporting of RUG categories, productivity, and financial reporting. Therapute’s update for FY2012 MDS 3.0 changes includes reporting when a Change-of-Therapy (COT) OMRA assessment is needed, an End-of-Therapy report that shows patients with a 3-day break in therapy, and automatically dividing group therapy minutes by four for RUG-IV calculations.

Quick Data Entry for Therapists
Therapute was designed by therapists for efficient LTC charting. With Therapute, therapists begin their shifts with a worksheet that helps them plan their day, listing their patients and the therapy required. It's a grid that can be printed and used to record minutes and labor information.

At the end of the shift, therapists simply log in, select a resident, and enter minutes and any payroll/travel data. Click Finish and the data updates the central database. Therapute clients report that therapists usually spend 5 to 10 minutes per day on this data entry.

Therapute uses the actual minutes for an online PPS Planner grid that shows the minutes delivered by discipline and date after percentages are applied for Concurrent (50 percent) and Group (25 percent) therapy. The software uses this data to estimate a RUG-IV score. You can enter different dates, ADL scores and whether the patient meets the criteria for Extensive Services, to see changes to the RUG.

A report is generated for the MDS Coordinator with information needed to complete MDS 3.0 Section O.

Extensive Management Information
Therapute offers more than 200 on-demand reports with real-time data. The reports were designed with therapy managers in mind, focusing on treatment, clinical, outcomes, productivity and revenue. Therapute software is licensed for a flat monthly fee that includes support. It is Web-enabled and runs over a Virtual Private Network. You access Therapute through icons on your desktop, the software is loaded on Therapute servers located in their HIPAA-compliant datacenter. As a hosted system, Therapute IT staff maintain your database and keep it current.
