Resource Systems CareTracker is made up of two parts:

The touchscreens encourage caregivers to chart all the care they provide. Rather than using paper forms, they simply touch an item, shown in pictures and words. When a response is touched, the picture changes color - giving instant feedback.

CareTracker can eliminate undercoding by documenting all assistance given (ADLs), signs of depression, and behaviors. Those items significantly contribute to RUG calculations, the scoring system used for payment by Medicare Part A and by Medicaid in a majority of states.

A difference of just one point in an ADL score can mean a loss of $10 to $40 per day/per resident in payment by Medicare Part A and by Medicaid in a majority of states. Undercoding can easily cost a facility tens of thousands of dollars a year.
