Add CareTracker to your Keane NetSolutions or VistaKEANE system for charting through user-friendly, wall-mounted touchscreens. Data is automatically totalled and sent the MDS.
Resource Systems CareTracker is made up of two parts:
Touchscreen wall-mounted kiosks that collect data and export it to:
- Management software that calculates MDS scores and generates clinical and management reports
The touchscreens make charting seem more like fun than work. They show charting choices in pictures and words. When a response is touched, the picture changes color -- giving instant feedback.
Receive the Payment You Earn
CareTracker can eliminate undercoding by encouraging staff to document all assistance given (ADLs), signs of depression, and behaviors. Those items significantly contribute to RUG calculations - the scoring system used for payment of Medicare.
A growing number of states also use RUG calculations for Medicaid payment.
A difference of just one point in an ADL score can mean a loss of $10 to $40 per day/per resident in Medicare Part A payment.
Undercoding can easily cost a facility tens of thousands of dollars a year.
Interface with Keane NetSolutions and VistaKEANE
For maximum efficiency, Keane Care can offer you an interface with CareTracker Enterprise version:
- Resident and census information is exported to CareTracker from ADT
- Totals for MDS Section G1 and G2 (ADLs), Section E (mood and behavior patterns) and, in early 2008, Sections H1-3, N1 and P3 are imported to Keane Care Resident Assessment (MDS) from CareTracker. Simply review the totals and click to complete those MDS sections
