Electronic Claims

VistaKEANE Resident Account Management and VistaCARE Accounts Receivable software were certified by Claredi for Outbound ANSI 837 Institutional Health Care Claims, Version 004010x096 in October 2002 and in 2003 for Version 004010x096A1.

These updates are in use nationwide for Medicare claims and were modified for the needs of ten fiscal intermediaries.

For Medicaid claims, in 2003 Keane Care released updates with 837I modifications to meet the individual requirements of 27 states with more scheduled for 2004 as states release their requirements.

Remittance Advice

VistaKEANE RAM 2.3 Service Pack 2 (and higher) contains the programming for receiving electronic Remittance Advices in the HIPAA standard ANSI 835 format.
